YTF don't you put these threads where they belong? It's in the PUBLISHED ISSUES. SPOIL the *SQUEE* out of the book there. NOT here.

Drove from New Orleans to Virginia and now am working for the next 36 hours, so I haven't been able to finish my review (yet).

But the book is good, and seemlessly follows the events of issue one. This (as is Savage #1) an origin story that is methodically developing both the characters and setting. It's worth reading, and I suspect the 1:50 is worth getting.

I'm not surprised. Fish aren't generally known for saying much at the best of times.

when i read savage #1 i thought they had just fallen through a time arc into the past or something, but i realized in this one they're probably in the faraway since the water was solid (and i think they mentioned that in archer & armstrong #0 too when they went there)

Just as solid as #1. Dynamic art and inspired story. I think after 4 issues it might seem like one of the fastest reads Valiant has put out yet, but it's fresh. That's my favorite thing about Valiant is nothing feels stale.

Obviously for spec the 1:50 is a great pick up at the right price, but for my money I'm all about that Senkewvitchwizt cover (I really need to learn how to spell his name).

Seriously though, there's a whole other area to discuss new release comics, complete with spoiler warnings. It's not hard to find.

This book was fantastic, and it looks like we were wrong on a few of our speculations from last time.

Mainly, the eggs are/were not needed for anything special, he basically used them as a distraction tool as well as the body of a hatchling (so, that question answered, for now).

Great gory art! And it looks like some further hostilities are a brewin on the island. Can't wait for the 3rd installment, want to know more about "the others"

I'm curious about the portal.

How many peeps have come through? And where does it open in our world?

Also. This pretty much guarantees the kid will make into our world sometime.

I'm very very interested

Best single issue in a while I reckon! Art from Henry and Larosa was superb and used very smartly yo depict 'then' and 'now'.

Can't believe Becks lost his arm and died in issue #2!! :o

Really enjoying how this story is unfolding.

5/5

I would probably agree. I've already read this issue (as well as the last one) through several times. I love the artwork. Everything about it draws me in to the world. My favorite book that Valiant is putting out right now.

I enjoyed how they weaved in and out of the different times in this issue. It flowed really well. My favorite page: when he's jumping down from the tree towards the man to begin the fight, right after throwing the egg. Absolutely stunning art.

I'm really enjoying this series. VEI is on a roll with newer material such as this, Divinity and Britannia.

This book lives up to it's billing --- young KJ truly proved Savage this issue and I lovvvvveeee his use of raptor claws. A nice nod from Dino and company to the board? I.E. the Turok raptor claw collectible.
Kevin's Sr.'s ultimate demise was also quite savage. I'm a little afraid to keep reading to see what kind of awful things might befall KJ's mother....

The book feels fresh & interesting and the art is fantastic. Kudos to all!
