Why not try bigbadtoystore store, not sure of the price difference, but supposedly their stuff comes to the buyer in good shape.

Yeah, I'll go check out their site. It's been so long since I last ordered from them. I think the last thing I bought from their site was Brave Maximus when it first came out, but that was so long ago...

I've used BBTS and they're good store. Another one I've heard a lot of good things about is http://www.tfsource.com sometimes you can find better deals.

I do have a small sword collection. My katana blade isn't ancient, but the "Damascus" style steel is freakin' sweet. It even survived Knightt's test (brutal.)

:D

I'm hoping "Knightt's test" isn't something sexual. :o

Jam your blade tip into the ground. Stand beside it so the flat of the blade is facing you. Give it a good, hard kick.

If your blade breaks, it's *SQUEE*.

:D

Aw, man. Just noticed autocorrect screwed up my joke. It should read "something sexual". Serial, geez.

Yup.

Even if my blade was forged in the Showa era (1910-1935), it is quality steel.

I know little about swords but some Japanese ones are amazing.I heard on tv that during world war 2 one soldier cut a machine gun barrel apart ..that had to be one tough sword.

Respect.
I love japanese swords and I had a decorational daisho set (NOT japanese, though...), but had to part with the wakizashi due to finances. As soon as I was trying to get more (and "rejoin" that pair), it became illegal to sell'em here. And i may be wrong, but I think it now applies to all EU- according to the store owner where I get my archery supplies (and where I used to find a lot of replica swords, of all types- it had to do with some robberies in the UK whose culprits were carrying katana swords. :? I was planning to also get a Lusitanian-style Falcata before they vanished. That bummed me.
I'm afraid to order from abroad and have the police knocking on my door. Half-joking.
