Recommend me some Crossgen series.

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

I read the Way of the Rat. Any other fun series that can be enjoyed on their own?

Crossgen is GREAT! I love it.

Here is the best.

Ruse 1-15 (I think). They had a writer change and it was never as good. But still pretty good until the end.
Meridian. Full run, great book.
Sojourn. Great characters and like wow on the art.

I like Sojourn too but was disappointed after finding out that Greg Land traced some of the art. :!:

Scion for fantasy (and I usually hate fantasy)

Route 666 for a touch of horror

Negation for space opera

Unfortunately, none of these ended since the company went under. Okay, technically, Negation ended and went into Negation War, but that only lasted 2 issues before the company collapsed.

Merdian is the best of core books it has a pretty great location and a lot of twists and turns.
Scion is a blast and a lot of fun! Think Prince Valiant with a laser sword and mutants.
Sojourn a slightly different take on the Sigil-bearer and orcs and with a strong female hero. Good read
Mystic is a decent read. A party girl who didn't want anything to do with her serious sister's work gets all the power and now has to try and figure out what to do with it.
Sigil was the weakest of the core 4. The book is boring as hell. It's like a bad Star Wars and Halo wanna be.
Know this: I would rather be hated for being honest for my opinions, than being loved as a liar!

One of my favourite aspects was the design of the layouts in the earlier issues consistently going across 2 pages at a time, giving a really cinematic feel IMHO. :)

Scion, Sojourn, the Path; basically anything by Ron Marz. Honestly the entire line was fantastic, it's hard to have an absolute favorite.
