Re: Defiant vs Ultraverse vs Comics' Greatest World
Defiant had the most original ideas.
Classic Valiant was the best written.
Ultraverse was the most fun (before Marvel ruined it).

The Ultraverse was definitely fun pre-Black September, even if most of it I read once it became defunct.Cyberstrike wrote:Defiant had the most original ideas.

Defunct universes?
Valiant is the son of the New Universe.

Ultraverse leads this poll by 4 votes, and Defiant leads the other poll by 3.
Valiant is the son of the New Universe.

I'll put my vote in for Wildstorm universe. While the characters may live within DCU...the Wildstorm universe I know and loved is dead to me.

Re: Defiant vs Ultraverse vs Comics' Greatest World
Given that we've seen a lot of "dead" universes come back (i.e. Valiant, Atlas, Gold Key, Dark/Red Circle, Milestone, and Wildstorm) in some form and some were hits and others were failures (and in the cases of Milestone and Wildstorm there were attempts to put their characters into the New 52 DCU).leonmallett wrote:Not quite as snappy as 'dead' I guess.StarBrand wrote:Defunct universes?
