Maybe we will see a new record.
That's the idea.

I think that we will most certainly see a new high for the magnus book. I think that the previous high was around $250...we will certainly beat that this time.

The last VcVSS went for like $365 and this is more rare as there are only 40 instead of 50. Will it go for more than the $365?

Well to be honest the last VcVSS book sold for $137 and change. The Shadowman VcVSS book went for $365 or so. I dont know that it will reach that price, but it might. But I also think that the Shadowman book is also the most popular of the books..

The Magnus 0 book is probably the "grail" of the series, though... in the long run.

maybe...I guess since it is the first...and it is almost probably the most expensive book to start with...grail works..

I'd say there are a variety of reasons that Magnus 0 book will be coveted.
You guys have definitely listed a couple of those...

the Bloodshot #7 VcVSS in part went for less because I still had some of them in hand at the time the auction was run and I personally told people before I went on vacation to not to pay more than $30.25 just yet because there were still copies that weren't paid for. Also, with my system I used for giving certain people an automatic in, I made sure almost all the people who had runs of the VcVSS books were able to continue their run, so the people who were willing to pay sky high amounts for the Shadowman book to continue their runs were able to get one of mine at the issue price. Personally, I'm pretty proud of that.

yeah I think that the print run being 10 less than the others is a big part of it also. Plus it seems like this board has experienced a lot of growth since that book was offered.

No doubt. Same reason that I am happy that my print hasnt sold above $25 yet and I know it has changed hands atleast 1. Basically anyone that wanted one got one so there is little need for a secondary market atleast for quite sometime. I think your distribution method was nothing but fair and probable the best way to do it since they began selling out. See we can agree on something.. :thumb:

Kind of like Ebay UFC !!
Sorry about the Magnus #0. I meant to push that MUCH higher, and flubbed it. My apologies.

I couldn't let a page penciled by Sirac go so cheap. I really like how he "updated" the look of Solar and Magnus as another member had commented to me.

Were you the inker? I am guessing because of Knightt's comment.

Besides, I don't know everyone on this board's name, jm. All pardons for not being so knowledgeable.

We should be well over $7000 in donations and could probably get to $10000 this year with still a month to go. Anyway nice work everyone.

Nice job :thumb:

You should consider perhaps incorporating the charity, hence qualifying for non-for-profit business status, and therefore giving you a vastly deeper, and more powerful event  :bugeyed: :superstar:

Literally hiding. Behind esnipe. I had no intention of driving this up higher than needed, even for charity. I wanted it myself

Guess however I didn't want it enough
