My prized pickup at the San Diego Comic Convention!

Post by k_c_collectibles »

Hey guys,

Here is my best pickup at the San Diego Comic Convention.

Image

They are the Unity #0 signed by the creators at the ValiantFans.com meeting and the second is the card created by Greg signed there also. The people from the meeting that signed both are:

Sean Chen
Bernard Chang
Howard Simpson
Charles Yoakum
Kevin VanHook
Jim Calafiore
Rodney Ramos

Also on the comic is Maurice Fontenot

Also on the card is Dennis Woodyard and Jorge Gonzalez

I wandered the floor after the meeting and picked up signatures on both the card and comic from Sal Velutto, Tommy Lee Edwards and Jimmy Palmiotti.

I was searching in vain for David Lapham as I knew he was at the show, but came up empty. All in all it was a GREAT experience meeting all those great people and I can't wait for next year!!! :thumb:

Hmm, send me one of each and I'll make the call! :D

Those are friggin' sweet. Not as sweet as a certain Batman by Adams sketch, but that's one hard act to top, baby! :thumb:

Knightt,

I mean no disrespect to you or the great book you put together - that is my second favorite thing I picked up out there... It ranks higher than the original art page I picked up from Rodney Ramos! :thumb:

Here is a pic of Knightt's Fighting Cycsic Fibrosis book - it is signed by Sean Chen, Kevin VanHook and Anthony Castrillo.

And I thought this would be pictures of your truck...

:D

Seriously though - nice stuff!

So, who knows what SDCC VF.com swag is going to be available to the rest of us? One o' them snazzy black t-shirts with the valiantfans.com logo on it would be pretty cool.........

Hmm... what's "very soon?" Later tonight? Tomorrow??? Is there a chance that, if one misses the shirt & signed comic deal that more shirts could be produced?

Sorry about all the questions, but "enquiring minds want to know!"

Well in the next two days I would say....

There is NO way I am producing any more shirts....

they weren't cheap. I did a print run of 36 shirts for the SDCC and those went out to members and creators at the show. This is what I have left. I am only looking to cover the cost of these shirts and I don't think that I'll have that even happen.

I'll do whatever I can to get... I mean, to help you out, B.

Those shirts look really good, and the signed stuff is like icing on a cake.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.....

Knightt_333 wrote:Would you guys be interested in the 'FIGHTING CYSTIC FIBROSIS' Bloodshot #26 books that I gave out at the Con to board members as well ? You can check out the fuzzy scan on the previous thread pages. It was signed by Anthony Castrillo, Kevin Vanhook and Sean Chen and has the above logo Gold Embossed on every copy.

I am thinking of putting up my extra copies on an 'on site auctin' with all the $$$ going to CF of course.

I can post a better scan once I get some breathin' room.
The Bloodshot #26 is VERY NICE..........the Gold embossed CFF logo is Flawless...... :thumb:
