I must admit I have publicly and loudly said I have almost zero interest in going to a convention if Valiant is not there, but that being said one of my very favorite artists (the immensely talented Clayton Crain!) will be there so now so I will be going. Anybody else going Saturday? Lol. I look forward to seeing people again.

The LBCC website says Valiant Entertainment will be there but I haven't heard anything from VEI itself.

Also, 2 pm should work unless I'm at a panel. Haven't even looked at that schedule yet. Still have a lot of prep to do and its tomorrow. :o

So much fun seeing everyone at LBCC. I picked up my totally awesome Clayton Crain commission, a cool pint glass that he also did the art for and signed (honestly never thought about getting glasses signed... :hm: ) and picked 4 prints, including a sweet one of Rai! Can you tell why I went? Lol. Got to hold a Bloodshot Platinum 0, and submitted amongst other books a copy of Harbinger 8 Variant to CGC. The show was huge this year. I was totally stunned. I came around noon expecting nothing and was shocked that the line stretched down the hall and out the door to pick up my preordered tickets! The con had been open for 2 1/2 hours when I got there. :o . Also stopped by my favorite future VALIANT artist Marc Silvestri's booth and chatted with him about our mutual love of Valiant (maybe not mutual per say..lol) and he ribbed me about being a Bears fan (he is from Chi town too!). Always a pleasure seeing Elveens booth and extra bonus the family was there too! First meeting and they are all just as sweet as you expect with him being Daddy and all. Sales seemed brisk at most dealers so not many deals to be had and honestly I didn't bring much money for anything because I was expecting a show like last year. I may have to go back next year if Sunday was the same. Of course I have to mention the fun of chatting up Art Thibert who is just so cool (even when you make jokes that everyone around you says we're not cool! But he laughed! And I learned who not to make certain jokes around!) that you should make time to seek him out. He mostly does West Coast but he won't be at Wonder Con. :( . Made my usual donation at the Hero booth (seriously if you guys love comics I hope you donate to this great organization!) and was off. I posted picks of things in the Valiant fans Facebook group just because it was easy for me! Lol. Surprisingly good time. :high-five:
