I'll be there. Probably.depluto wrote:I'm thinking Wednesday afternoon before Preview Night is a good time for a Valiant Beer Summitt. Also, before and/or after the Valiant panel might be a good time to get together.

Re: SDCC 2016
Yes I should have been more specific in my question, I meant was everyone going to try and go to the beer fest, or was there another date that everyone was thinking of getting together? I only ask cause I didn't get tickets and while I was planning on spending the day down there on poker day, I didn't know if I should plan for additional day to meet up with everyone.Dr. Solar wrote:Uh, it's only one day?THEWGZK wrote:This sounds awesome. What day are you thinking of going Dr.?

Re: SDCC 2016
Since I have been told this isn't an official Valiant panel there will NOT be a GOLD book given out after the panel. BUT I have something VERY cool to give out after the panel to all who come to it. I also have enough being made for those who can't make it to the show but still want something VERY cool
Have to work out the details but XO fans will want one.

I am getting into San Diego Tuesday afternoon ... where is a good place to take the wife and daughter to dinner? Under $100 for the three of us?

No fish tacos at Tommys. Just burgers and dogs. And the very best chilli for both.depluto wrote:Do they sell fish tacos? Who am I kidding? If there are enough, I would love one of the panel comics. Someday I will make it back to SDCC (my daughter keeps telling me we need to go again!)

Looks like a Faith panel on Friday and then two Valiant panels on Saturday, including BTE's. The others are moderated by Vulture. Who dat?

Re: SDCC 2016
Three more nights at work then I am hitting the road. Got somebody to house sit for me, saving a few hundred bucks on boarding our pets. Guess I gotta stock the fridge before I go.
Hmmm.
That's about it. Still sweating that 35-minute layover in Atlanta. When they switched planes on me it killed off our seat assignments so now we are toward the back of the plane. That could mean a crucial few minutes lost getting off that thing.

You know the rules of comic conventions:
