SDCC Poker/Trivia Night 2011

Poker/trivia on Thursday night?

Well kids, it's that time of year again. I plan on hosting the 4th(or is it 5th?) annual Valiant Fans Validated Poker and Trivia Game. Last year Chiclo was the champion of Elveen's world famous Valiant trivia game. Thankfully, he won't be around this year to mop the floor with everyone. And with the first meeting of the NNBBC, we didn't have a poker game or poker game winner. This year we'll be sure to play poker because I need spending money for the Con.

The plan(so far) is to have everyone over Thursday night, July 21st. We'll do dinner(probably pizza) before we get to trivia and poker. There's really no hard start time because everyone usually wants to clean up after the Con before they come over. But the sooner people show up the sooner we can start. If anyone needs a ride, just ask. I'll do my best to pick up people that don't have their own wheels. I live about 15 minutes away from the Convention Center.

The invitation is open to all board members(banned or otherwise), and their families. If you'd like to come, post here so I know who and how many.

Also, I'll have a sleeping 11 month old. If we wake him up I'll be rooming with one of you....

We'll work out rides closer to the con. I'm happy to pick up anyone that needs a ride, but if people staying in the downtown area(like Mark) can work something out, all the better.
