VH1 Harby 1 CGC 9.8, plus others - ebay auction

Post by GGSAE »

Hi guys,

I just listed the following books in CGC 9.8 to my ebay store starting off at a penny! True auction style, let's see how it goes (The harbinger and a Rai 0 will be scheduled within the hour). THanks, let me know if you have any questions!

Nice books, Spreads! Love the old school .99 centers - should have no trouble achieving good sales with these gems!

Thanks Woogie! Whatever I get I’ll be happy with the results; I need to reduce some of my extras. I’m looking to slowly build out more listings each week...

Love those Green Lantern slabs, I was a big fan of Emerald Twilight back in the day.

Me too! Although, I wish Hal had stayed crazy and wish DC had left him in the past. Green Lantern is meant to have a new one for each generation. For me Kyle Rayner is GL. Not sure what the millennials prefers for GL.

Thanks! They’re sharp books, I have a few sets of 48-51 that I’ll post online at some point....

Final bump, less than an hour to go! I was going to post earlier that I added a 9.8 of Harby 6 but it already sold!

I saw that, ironically the buyer is someone I know locally so I’m happy he won it. A bit funny, I don’t think he knew the book was even in Ottawa until I sent him a message...all buyers have paid aside from the xo which is a zero feedback buyer, ugh why doesn’t ebay allow you to prevent these guys from bidding?!

Nice copy. How much did you sell it for? I have a 9.8 copy as well and planning to sell it but I am planning to hold on to it until Faith and Bloodshot movies come out.

I cannot find any sign of the h1 listing right now, sold or otherwise. I know it was there a few days ago!

It was on my watch list and I wasn't paying attention.

Sold for under 800 usd.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

Well that's not great. This is why I hate auction style. On the other hand it definitely works for the seller sometimes.

You take the good with the bad, Canadians are always used to getting less for their auctions...on the flip side I sold a run of ASM books for 1k CAD that I would have taken $650 locally so you never know...
