I see that Sonic Dan has one that is VF. I was looking for NM.

I see several on Amazon... But condition is not very clear.

Tough finding these in NM...the #2 with the black cover edge is even tougher.
It's like no one treated Acclaim books with any love for all these years.

Been looking for NM+ Acclaim Bloodshot issues for 6 years. Really difficult. Bought some NM+ Troublemakers issues and thought I scored, lol!

Ok... I didn't realize the Acclaim version were a tough find in NM. I wonder what issues are the first appearances of Gino DeCarlo and Tibbs(which obviously will be in the movie now).

Gino DeCarlo's first appearance is also Bloodshot V2 #3. Tibbs doesn't sound familiar. Maybe a new character or amalgamation of existing characters.

Greg has historically opined that most Acclaims in CGC 9.6 are roughly equivalent to pre-unity VH1 in 9.8..in terms of what you can expect to find in the wild. I generally agree. Apathy and low print runs work strongly against the Acclaims despite publication dates many years later.

That's true, though I was talking about 1999-2000 books like Shadowman Volume 3 and Armorines Vol 2. Now that I think about the earlier Acclaims, it's probably also true, but we haven't had much reason to slab those before. :D

Do I own the only CGC 9.8 copy? Are there any more 9.8 slabs out there?

I buy VH1 in 9.8 only, pretty much.

For Acclaim, I'm pretty happy with a 9.6. Ecstatic with a 9.8. Any book.

For VEI, I'm over the moon with a 9.6 for the regular books. They are incredibly condition sensitive. For prestige, only 9.8 will do.

I've got a stack of Troublemakers in 9.8 raw, lol!

Mkb28,

Awsome book in 9.8. I see that a 9.8 sold in 2009 for $35.00. That was a great pick up for somebody (50% chance of being yours).

They seemed like throwaway characters in the comics. I want to assume they are throwaway characters for the movie, too, to be killed off in entertaining ways. So, if they are one-and-done, they better be memorable.

I am the other 50% because I paid much more than $35.00. facepalm My guess is Bloodshot will kill this character off pretty quickly and I am hoping Toyo Harada is revealed near the end. :hope:

I am fairly sure that I sold MKB28 his slab in 2017 (I believe). I made it availible for sale for some time; however, despite my flat out telling buyers that his book was going to be a “thing” come movie time, interest was minimal.

Fast forward to now, and time has proven such a sale to have been wise.

Yep, DBS sold me this slab last year. :thumb: I was hoping you own the other 9.8 copy, Jesse. :hope:

Unfortunately I do not. At the time, I had to sell off a few slabs to raise funding for Suayan’s original cover art for Bloodshot #1 and Henry’s original interlocking cover art for Harbinger Wars. So I was VERY thankful for your picking up a few things to help make those buys possible. :thumb:

These were multi-thousand dollar purchases around the same timeframe, and with my concurrent plans to buy a house in summer of 2018 (which just occurred this month) and sending my daughter to college (which happens now), I could have NEVER been able to justify such a purchase with my wife ( ) outside of my comic book/art selling/buying funds (which of course, is ironically funded by comic book/art sales in itself!).

GPA shows that issue #2 sold for $35 in March of 2009, not issue #3. There are no known sales on GPA for issue #3.

CGC census could possibly be wrong...

Here is my copy that I submitted last year.

Yes, I stand corrected. It was #2 that sold.
