Sorry for the out of focus pic, but I was the mystery shopper. It pained me a bit to bid against fellow fans/friends in this community....sorry gents/gals, but just wanted to let you know that these are within the community.

I have a couple of the bronze X-O rings, but they're hiding from me currently.

The [sterling] silver rings are a little tarnished, and was tempted to try the following cleaning method:

Anyone ever try? Any words of caution? A "heck-no, don't do that!" before I pull the trigger?

Congratulations on your purchases! I wear my silver XO ring at every con (when I'm not wearing my gold one ). In regards to polishing it, it's sterling silver. I don't think there is anything you can do to hurt it. I just use silver polish and a rag.

X-O silver: 155
Ninjak silver: 96

I've thought about custom making a Gold Ring, laying gold over one of my extra Bronze rings, but it sounds like a project

I made a 14k gold ring a couple years ago by way of investment casting/lost wax. I'll see if I can dig up the thread about it. I didn't mean to hijack this one.
