I saw where Valiant is offering pre-order editions of those X-O books, and I think I will settle on the pre-order versions as my go-to versions since they have extra content offered nowhere else. In all honesty, I dislike the variant cover game. But, I'm willing to make an exception in the case of X-O. He is by far the most interesting Valiant character to me.

No, not the XO 4-9 pre-order. To be honest, it's the idea of holding books for 6 months that makes me not want to do it. That's a long time to hold on to someone's books and wait to ship.

Valiant is proud to announce that the Certified Guarantee Company (CGC) will now accept and certify all copies of the SECRET WEAPONS #1 VALIANT VALIDATED SIGNATURE SERIES (VVSS) edition with the official CGC Signature Series label if they are received within 90 days of the issue’s June 28th, 2017 on-sale date!

Featuring virgin cover art by series artist Raul Allen, a hand-written signature in gold ink from Academy Award-nominated writer Eric Heisserer, and an official VVSS embossed seal, all copies of the SECRET WEAPONS #1 VALIANT VALIDATED SIGNATURE SERIES edition must be received by CGC by September 27th, 2017 in order to qualify for official CGC Signature Series certification. Collectors and fans, please note: the signed Valiant Certificate of Authenticity included with each copy will not be encased with the graded comic and can remain with its owner. Copies received after September 27th, 2017 are ineligible for a CGC Signature Series label and will be graded at CGC’s discretion.
