It's somewhat true. Of course there are several books and/or original art pieces I have zero intention of letting go, but there are many possible Grails and gems yet to be discovered waiting out there (if not only in concept even).

I'm very happy with where my collection is, and feel that this books is one that can go to another now. I still have the story of how it got here, and (for me) that is enough.

Plus money is cool.

I suspect this was deliberate. 10 books in circulation will clearly fetch a greater ROI than 1,000; however, these guys seemed to only irritate the market with this action and I'm not really sure how many have ever sold as a result of this (highly likely) underhanded move.

First off, it's a FREE Comic Book Day cover that somehow NOone got...except them.

Secondly, and worst of all (IMNSHO) is it's a "retailer" variant...their own retailer variant that they wanna' charge almost a grand for
