Fundraiser Closed

---------------FUNDRAISER CLOSED-----------------

Dear Valiant Fan Members:

I am writing to ask for your support in a fundraiser for my son’s school.

Ean, my 4½ year old son attends a special need's school which accommodates kids ages 1-5 diagnosed with autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy.

This fundraiser will provide provisions for the behaviorists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and staff members that work with our special needs kids.

Valiant Entertainment has kindheartedly donated multiple books to help raise funds for the fundraise. Thank you Dinesh!

Ways You Can Help:

I am selling eco-bags with the autism awareness symbol combined with a added book:

Any donations are gratefully accepted.

Ean with Eco-Bag

About Ean. At 2 years, he was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). He began early intervention since 14 months. He is currently enrolled in a 6 hour per day intensive therapeutic service program for almost 2 years that includes speech and occupational therapy.

Ean is non verbal. His environment can be overwhelming in public since he is highly sensitive to lights, spinning objects, etc. His focus is short and he can be frustrated when he becomes helpless due to a lack of instant processing skills. He is unable to read facial expressions, body language or the emotions of others.

Regardless of all of his limitations, he’s a sweet and a great little kid and is the angel of my life.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Sincerely,
Elery

Awesome!

I'd like to donate, but I don't really need the Eco bags or any of the gold books. If you can let me know where to send a donation it will be in the digital "mail".

That would suit me also, especially to avoid unneeded postage. Could you remind me the Paypal address through PM.

Well I am incredibly selfish unlike the the kind hearted souls above so I wil buy books! Lol. In all seriousness Elery is a great guy who does so much to promote Valiant (even if he hasn't read Rai yet! ) and his son is a sweet sweet little boy. I commend you, your wife and daughter because it is tough on all of you. This is a great cause and I am more than happy to help! :thumb:

Elery has done SOOOOO much to help out Valiant fans AND VEI by running more promos than I can count (TPB reviews, Photo Scavenger Hunt and more) that I really hope everyone can return the favor and help him with this fundraiser.

VEI has been tremendously generous on their part in helping him out with Gold books to provide supporters, so EVERYONE is a winner when they participate in this.

When you can help a fellow board member out with a great cause such as this, AND get a super prize donated by our favorite company, what's not to love about it all?

Since everyone is so tuned in to condition of books, I will take one of your lesser grade X O Manowar #0 Golds and only too happy to help out :thumb:

My guess is that Elery will have more takers than product for this fundraiser, so please let him know of your desire to help out soon and THANKS to everyone for their assistance with this :high-five:

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank members for their contributions.
Your financial support helps us support the therapists that work in my son's school community.

The generous support of individuals like you makes Valiant Fans a great place to be in.

Thank you again for your support!

Thanks for your interests in supporting. And yes, many parents do go through 'due process' in regards to schooling for their special need child.

My wife and I live by patience, patience and patience...... Ean has a very full schedule. In addition to 6 hours a day at his school, he gets 10 hours/wk ABA at home plus 1 hr of ST and OT per week.

Thank you!!!!

My son gets OT and art therapy. The art therapy helps him communicate when he can't speak his mind. The pictures do the talking for him. :high-five: to you and your wife! Hang in there dude!

THANK YOU to all the members here who are supporting this Fundraiser. Support just like this is one of the major things that makes this site unique within the Valiant community and I would daresay the comics community as a whole. The members here have shown time after time that they sincerely WANT to help out fellow fans here and the outpouring of support for Elery is yet another stellar example of this fact. You ARE the best, bar none :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
