WTB- 37 VH1 Items - Low grade/low cost preferred.

Updated: 6/23/2012

I'm down to about 35 items to complete the Vh1 Universe Checklist!, but I'm strapped for cash for the long run. If anyone has low grade copies and/or really affordable prices on the following let me know!

I can probably afford at least 4-5$ per item, or 10$-15$ for rares like vvss and the last 3 valiant voices which are my priority. Prices paid would depend on item and quality, but not likely to be over 20$ right now unless its a diamond tpb, Pred Tpb, Hard to find VVSS or solar hc. I've listed the prices I'm willing to/prefer to pay next to the items I could probably afford right now. Thanks!

I think it's realistic to find the following boks from your list in low grade in your goal price range if you're patient enough for what it's worth.

ARMORINES 0 StandAlone - Timewalker on back cover
DEATHMATE Preview Green-Comic Defense
DEATHMATE Preview Orange
Harbinger TPB Blue Variant
Harbinger TPB 2nd Print
MAGNUS ROBOT FIGHTER 57 Error
MAGNUS ROBOT FIGHTER 25 V.V.S.S.
RAI (AND THE FUTURE FORCE) 9 V.V.S.S.
Rai TPB
SHADOWMAN 0 Non-Chrome
TUROK: DINOSAUR HUNTER 1 V.V.S.S.
UNITY Saga 1 TPB
UNITY Saga 3 TPB
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 3
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 9
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 10
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 11
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 13
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 14
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 15
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 16
X-O MANOWAR Database1 V.V.S.S. (add-on, no emboss)
X-O MANOWAR X-O Manowar TPB Blue Variant
Valiant Free-View 1 (First Print)

And maybe these:
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 17
VALIANT VOICE (NEWSPAPERS) 18
VISITOR Vis. vs Val. 1 - $2.50
VISITOR Vis. vs Val. 2 - $2.50
Destroyer 0 - $2.50

Oh I'm patient enough... I've been on this quest for 11+ years now! ;-) started again with 0 comics in 2001 when i bought a long box of vh1 for 40$ from a shop going out of business.

I never thought I would even go this far as I originally planned to stop at the point that acclaim took over.

I've even started buying some vh2 when I see them in quarter bins... Though I've long despised anything associated with acclaim... Because the first thing they did was cancel Second life of doctor mirage... Which was the sole reason I collected comics at the time.
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Very cool. I had about 1-2 copies of most of VH1 up to about Magnus #25 and then left comics altogether in about 1997. I picked it up again in 2007 and overpaid for a lot of stuff early on and then learned to be patient and wait and made alot of purchases I have been very pleased with, mostly on this board, and some on Ebay. Good luck!

I have a falling apart deathmate orange, and a rai blue tpb in cgc 9.2 that if you want I can break the slab and send to you. Those two items aren't even really worth the shipping, I'll see what else I have on your list...

I actually need the regular Rai tpb, I have the blue variant. As for the deathmate... Aren't they ALL "falling apart"? ;-)

Seriously though, I'd probably be interested in that one. See what else you have and shoot me a pm!

It took me a while to complete the voices. It was one of the last things I finished along with the Vvss books :?

They are one of the most hardest things to find. For example I've had like 4 CEARs and I have never had a double of any VV.

You'll definitely have to be patient and keep checking ebay and the board to get a complete set of Valiant Voices. Some of the later issues can get very pricey too....
