Unity 2000 unpublished art
Just ran across this on ebay. Some people have been asking where the unpublished pieces were. Here's one of them.

It's currently at $20.50. What do you other original art collectors think it will go for? Rare piece, but kind of a boring page, IMO. I see it going for around $100-150. I'm sure there is a huge variable when it comes to Starlin art, when it comes to its age and company it was produced for. I know his Captain Marvel covers have to go for thousands, when (and if) they ever come up for sale.

funny you say that....I was gonna bid high, til i saw the page itself. REALLY boring page, I can't pay big bucks and not even appreciate the subject matter I'm paying for. It's a page you buy just because it wasn't published.Vault-Keeper wrote:It's currently at $20.50. What do you other original art collectors think it will go for? If this book would have been published, this would be a $20-$30 page!

Well, it was sitting unsold for years. At a price which would make this page cheaper than some of the guesses here. It's a pity that Rubinstein uses a dealer who takes liberties with the truth. Had he used a good dealer these pages would have been sold a long time ago.betterthanezra wrote:He does and there was a point where he only wanted to sell it as a LOT meaning all at once or not at all.Fanboy375 wrote:Rubenstein has alot of the original art still.

Someone else who feels the way I do! I can't tell you how many deals I've passed up because it turns out the creator is represented by this individual and I will not deal with him.

Dialogue for the Page
PAGE TWELVE:
1. I’m starting to feel good about things, Lou. I know that Solar won’t simply go away, but…yes, I’m feeling good about the situation.
2. Don’t feel too good…
3. As long as the Armageddon Clock is still ticking down, all existence is still in jeopardy.
4. Here, I’ll make it so you can see it, too.
5. Betcha the Man in the Red Suit’ll make some kind of desperate move…there’ll be some kind of showdown…
6. …four cosmic ticks from now.
7. Perhaps. But as long as I have his darling Gayle…
8. Yeah. The way I see it, the only problem you got is if he finds her and…
9. Hey, where did you stash her, Alex? Maybe I can suggest someplace better.
10. No thanks.
11. Playin’ it close to the vest, huh? Good idea. Yep. Loose lips sink boats and all that.
12. Well, hey, my wife’s probably worried sick that I’m having a good time. Guess I’ll say good-bye to Sandy, crawl home and grovel my way through another lambasting. Seeya.
13. Soon.
14. The recruits all here, Darque. Every one (NOTE: “Every one” is deliberate) we contact. Some brought friends. They waiting for you.
15. Thanks, Anansi.
16. Ah! Ladies and gentlemen…
