Price lowered. Feel free to make an offer. Unless they are Valiant Validated, autographed books aren't my thing.

Very cool book, too bad I already have a couple copies, including a 9.8
One of the things I find the most disappointing about the CGC era of comic collecting is that signed comics not immediately slabbed and certified are basically devalued because they get that green label. I blame CGC and collectors alike for that situation, and I think CBCS does aspect right where they actually will validate a signature on a book they didn't witness first hand. Stupid CGC refuses still to do this, since for many of these the autographs could easily be validated.

I agree 100%. Some are super easy, like last year's Valiant Validated Secret Weapons #1. I have a copy that CGC refuses to grade without the dreaded green label, even though it has the embossed stamp right there on the book.markie7235 wrote:Very cool book, too bad I already have a couple copies, including a 9.8

THIS! I have some of the VVSS from the 90's that I believe also would get the green label if sent in, even though I also have the certificate to go with it. This is the most asinine approach I have ever heard. And agree on the VVSS for Secret Weapons #1 that they allowed only a limited window and then cut it off. Makes no bloody senseSerpentor wrote:I agree 100%. Some are super easy, like last year's Valiant Validated Secret Weapons #1.
