FS: X-O #1 1:500 Brushed Metal Cover - SOLD!

Post by jmatt »

It's not 100% certain I can swing this deal, but if I can, is anyone interested in purchasing this issue? I will negotiate a final price tomorrow with the seller, and yes, I will mark up the price a tad to make it worth my while.

Right now I think I can turn it around at $600, maybe less depending on tomorrow's market and negotiations.

My apologies, I know this is a little unconventional... and I may have my offer rejected, so there's no guarantee I'll get it.

If interested, please PM me and we will see what we can do in the next 24 hours.

As my consolation, I got the X-O calendar and pen. :thumb:

DBS' copy is up in my office. I dare not breath on it, let alone take it out of the bag and toploader. Has anyone actually, ya know, touched one of these things? What does it feel like?

I suspect raw is the way to buy these if they are thick and heavy. Like the prestige format I assume most are 9.8s.

I aim to please. :)

Slab worthy? It was removed from the top loader once (ever so gently, I might add -- I made the store manager do it since I didn't want to touch it) when I purchased it to take a look, but never from the bag.

I closely inspected it and believe that it will grade 9.8 without issue.
