I assumed they would be trashed and just wanted a reader copy, but was suprised when they came in really nice! The listing also said no coupons, but only issue 2 was missing the coupon, Issue 1's coupon was intact!! Original listing here:

Huge Congrats!
I've certainly never gotten a Harby #1 that cheap!

Neat deal. Surprised no one else bid.

I haven't posted anything here in a long time... Mostly because I stopped buying comics.
I got a copy of The Valiant #4 1:50 for less then $12/shipped. I got it today and it looks like a 9.8 candidate.

Recently, my LCS was cleaning up some of their older stuff, and they stumbled upon a few books they thought I might like.

One of those books was a Shadowman #0 V.V.S.S. that they sold to me for $10. I even balked and made it sound like I wasn't gonna buy it. She offered to make it cheaper, because she didn't know.

Book is in mint condition, and will go right next to the Unity Red that she sold to me last month for $5

(I'll be honest, I almost didn't buy it, until I saw the VVSS card in the back)

Have not seen these yet.
A friend picked them up for me, going to drop them at mine next time he visits.

Auction was ebay, but the listing was not great. If you look carefully at the listing ALL key books are there. Orginal Valiant.
Full run of Solar, Harbinger, XO, Rai, Magnus just 2 or 3 of the books are worth the asking price.

Think I got a great price.

Finally got these books.
A friend lives in the area, collection only, and brought them up when he visited.

harbinger pink and harbinger 1 are nm 9.6? 9.8 (you never know untill you grade.. Beteter than the books that I already have.
Rai and Xo run are at nm.
heaps of books, 3/4 valiant.

paid £100. Looking through I saw the beatles experiance 1-8 which alone, may fetch £35. Should be able to unpgrade soe of my books, and flip with about £250 profit. Was a good buy.
All other non valiant books, are books I haven't read which is a bonus.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

In the past year and a half I have gotten into the Akklaim issues, and have made it a point to sift thru dollar bins on travel trips. I just picked up Eternal Warrior: Immortal Enemy from the dollar bin! A month ago, I picked up the entire XO run. Heading back tomorrow with my list so if anyone is in need of Acclaim issues let me know.

Wanted this for awhile.
Got a steal I think.

Was going to buy it when it came out, wanted it, but sealed ones where expensive. Hope this hasn't been tampered with. If it has, still a Bargin.

A few weeks ago, I bought an Acclaim Shadowman Good Bad and Ugly variant for a quarter. At a store that solely sells back issues. Amazing find. Not in the best condition, but what a price!
