Huge thanks to:

lorddunlow for hooking me up with a much needed poster! :thumb:

KXXX for hooking me up with some pullbox cards that I needed! :thumb:

hawkeyeps for hooking me up with a Flamingo variant even though I'm higher than him on the collections list  ! :thumb:

And DrMirage for all the work he puts in to allow me to get some freaking awesome stuff! :thumb:

I don't think I forgot anyone, if I did, it was not intentional...just going off the top of my head.

Welcome.

I am quoting Bruce. "After all, helping each other out for the love of Valiant is a foundation of the board."

I've gotta bump this to thank Phantom!!

He offered to send a unity 2000 #3 and a shadowman vol 3 #6 to whomever bought a bunch of stuff off squirrel and we have been in discussion for a while.

He said he would post it the day we first chatted but also said he had a ton of VH1 issues I could HAVE if I wanted to wait until he sorted it out and I gave him a list. I gave him a big list and also asked if he had extra pre-unity/end of run issues he would be willing to let go. He came through in a big way for me!!!

I got a brick of comics ( I don't think the postal service could have destroyed them if they tried).

A TON of commons I didn't have for FREE, and of course the 2 I mentioned above FREE. He also gave me a great price on the pre-unity/end of run issues too.

Anyway, really cool of him to offer to help me out and the shipping was much less than it would have cost from the US as well for my brick of comics

I am slack at posting, but wanted to make sure I put this out there, as it is really cool of him to do, so I wanted to thank him publicly, not just in pm. :D

A big  and a :thumb: for Phantom!

Thanks again my friend, very much appreciated!
Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

Just saw this  Thanks, and I hope all you guys who do pulls with us know that we really appreciate your ongoing business. I know we are not perfect, If I was doing the pulls and shipping myself, it would be perfect every time, but employees tend to not be as invested in this as I would like them to be ( :!: ) Anyways, huge thanks for supporting us, and by doing it really helping us to support Valiant in the way that we do. Would not be possible without your patronage.

Seriously, if the service I've gotten is not your idea of perfect, you really have a mental disorder. I've never had such a great level of service from a business. The signed Q&W I received is the most pristine comic I have ever seen. There is not one single flaw on it. I'm amazed. Every transaction I've made with you has been awesome. I'm glad you help us out with getting these awesome items.

Quick kudos to Daydreamcomics for passing along a shot at Con goodies to us non-attendees.

Also to Greg for his general awesomeness! (and the Q&W CBLDF head's up).

+1 and a general thanks to everyone everyone who obtained con exclusive flip books, TPBs, and previews for us all. Thanks to the members here, I'm not missing even a single publication (except Shadowman Black - who ended up getting that great deal recently?) that VEI has released. Not all the variants of course, but if what is between the cover is unique, I have it (except for that elusive Shadowman Black).

I would have none of these without many of you making sure the love was spread around!

Right on. I wouldn't have any either! If not for the substantial efforts of Greg and Daydreamcomics. I am sad to have missed out on the smaller Bloodshot A&A flip but I still have hopes of picking up 10 or so. The flips are the only thing I really chase and collect these days.

Finally found this thread.

Ok, this a "long-loud-as-an-halford" SHOUT OUT to my Bro in Canada, hawkeyeps, who just sent me a bout a week ago, this wonderful batch of VEI goodies.

The man even sent me a surprise, that as you can see in the pic, I'm wearing it in a very dorky way. Love me NEW X-O shirt.

But what's even more mind-blowing is that he refused to accept the money for it; Chris maintaned contact with me via FB, when I couldn't access the boards, and he was aware of my recent loss of my teaching job, and that things got suddenly so messy in terms of doe, that I had to stop picking my monthly fix of comics, and suspend the "*SQUEE* as *SQUEE* expensive" net service we had.

Chris, Hawkeyeps:
You're one cool dude of a dude, dude. What you did for me, and for a lot of other people, well, that is something that only a real dedicated fan to VEI and VEI's fandom, and a GREAT GUY could do (or GIRL, wtv ;P)

I posted the pic on VEI's FB put they must not have seen it, I guess. :(
I really think Chris deserves a little something for his efforts, he has done similar stuff for many other members of this board.

In my defence (haha) Tuga is pronounced "tooga", so that should read toogy.
Either way:

Toogy's cool. It just needs a good single letter to add on to make it flow... Like V-Ditty or P-Twitty...

Now, if we hadda started calling you 'Tuggy D'... that would have been a bigtime facepalm

I should have done this long ago, but I would like to say thank you to all the members who have gone out of their way with the con exclusives. There have been so many of you guys to do this. I would never have picked up any of these if it wasn't for all of you.

To Dr. Mirage and Bruce, thank you for all your effort in Round #1, Round #2 and Round #3. I'm sorry I will be missing out on Round #3, but I appreciate everything you guys have done for us.

Thank you to Greg for setting up this great website and allowing us to take a break from the real world and enjoy talking about our favorite characters.

Thank you to all the Valiant fans who make this such a fun place to be (even the old crotchety ones). I enjoy coming here and seeing what people have to say.

Thank you to all the members who have helped me with my collection. I am a picky son of a *SQUEE* and I would never have found the books I wanted in the condition I wanted on ebay or elsewhere.

Thank you to Valiant for putting out good comics and bringing Valiant back to it's rightful place.
