First VEI Livewire? I can't remember what issue and am too sleepy to check. What was it again?

So yeah I would include that one .. also Shadowman #5

Archer & Armstrong #12 (Faraway Origin/Ivar Future Revelations)
Shadowman #5 (1st appearance of Shan Fong as Dr. Mirage)

In regards to A&A #0 - I think its significance is that its the first appearance of The Faraway.
I added these three. Thanks!

Thanks for everyone's input. At the moment the top post in this thread is convoluted. I'll be editing it as we go.

Anyone know the first VEI appearances of Harada and Master D'arque?

Good point. :thumb:
Agreed. I only had one opportunity to buy them at ECCC. The condition was really terrible. I think these in high grade will be very hard to come by. I'd be really happy with a 9.6, if I could get one.

I added this to the list. Also added Harbinger Wars 3, the first VEI Hard Corps.

I believe I was the 1st one ever to get my hands on the summer Tpbs, right out of the cases, first show they were available.

They all had dings. Everyone I saw.

I picked up something like 30–40 books for the board at NYCC 2012 (the first show, I believe, that they were available). Most had a little spine tear, which is probably a bindery defect (see image in link below). And if the label on the box they packed them up in is an accurate indication, there were 950 copies produced.

I was one of the people you picked the book up for. One of many members of this board who have done really nice things for me. :thumb:

I picked up like a dozen for other board members at that show too. Not too many perfect specimens in my lot either. They weren't bad, just not pristine.

I think I have everything in the top post in alphanumeric order now. I just need to fine tune it a bit, such as decide about whether to use all caps in the titles of the comics or not. I removed an item or two. Keep those suggestions coming!

Don't. It would have to be a retarded amount of money. That's my only VEI related possession that I know no one else on Earth has. If I ever decided to sell it, it would be an Ebay auction on the day they released a 'Faraway' movie, and maybe not even then.

StarBrand, sorry to have derailed your thread. Everyone else, my apologies for showing off. I'm just so excited about owning it.
