Thanks Dino and everyone else for maintaining this list.
Now that I've hit 100% for Valiant and Acclaim,
I have to keep collecting something Valiant related.

dino, I just found this one here in a pile.

Hero Illustrated Volume 1, #9 March 1994
Article "Valiant Comics:Sizing up the Big V for 1994"

Question and answer article with Massarsky and Hartz, rather amusing reading this now.

Just picked up the Previews with Predator v. Magnus on cover 8/92 and two copies of the Previews with the Unity Diamond cover 3/92 which includes an interview with Barry Smith and Bob Layton, and also includes the solicitation for the Unity Diamond trade vol.1. The ad says the Diamond Unitys are limited and only about half of the comic shops in the US will receive even one set!

Very cool!

How about Comics Interview #124?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v81/s ... I124dm.jpg

I just came across this one during my trip to Texas over the
weekend. I didn't get a chance to hit any shops, but found this
at an indoor fleamarket place.

It's got a nice long interview with Kevin VanHook about Deathmate and Valiant in general.
Here's some scans of some of the promo images.
I don't think I've seen these exact ones before.

This website motivated me to dig into some boxes of misc inventory that haven't seen the light of day for 5+ years.....here are several updates for your list - enjoy. If you would like a scan of anything, please let me know.

Comic Shop News:
213 Solar BWS cover
309 X-O Manowar Quesada cover
368 Chaos Effect cover
402 X-O Manowar Birthquake cover
419 Turok # 0 cover
484 X-O Manowar VH2 cover
514 Doctor Tomorrow cover
549 Harbinger VH2 cover

Comic Buyers Guide:
885 (11/2/90) Russ Manning's Magnus cover; article includes history & a recap of the first 28 classic issues.

1005 Deathmate cover
1019 "Deathmate, Doctor Mirage - and More" cover
1022 Deathmate crossover cover

I'll also point out 1012 & 1016 Jim Shooter's Defiant covers

Advance Comics
53 (5/93) X-O Manowar Quesada cover

Comics Scoreboard (pre-order mag like Previews)
58 (8/94) Timewalker cover
59 (9/94) Chaos Effect Epilogue cover
62 (12/94) The Visitor cover
63 (1/95) Sean Chen Bloodshot cover
65 (3/95) X-O Manowar cover

Previews
Aug 1996 -
Acclaim New Universe corner cover blurb; includes bound-in Acclaim Comics Valiant Heroes. Sidenote: hey! This means I have the book! It's not the stand-alone, stapled variety, but at least it's the book.

Dec 1996 - Eternal Warriors / Quantum & Woody cover
May 1997 - Solar: Revelations cover
July 1997 - Quantum & Woody cover

Finally, beginning in Aug 1996 thru Feb 1997, Previews contains a 7 part serialized VH2 comic series.
Blurb from the 8/96 issue, "Beginning this month: Chapter One of "Starting Over", a brand new, six part storyline serialized exclusively in PREVIEWS (and see if you can guess which new Valiant Hero this story's about!)."

Story by Tom Peyer; Pencils by Steven Butler and Inks by Ray Kryssing in full color.

Parts 1-5 are 4 pages each. Parts 6 & 7 are 3 pages. The story revolves around Magnus encountering different VH2 characters in each issue.
Quick question: was this 26 page story ever collected and reprinted anywhere ?

WIZARD #76 has a QUANTUM AND WOODY story that I don't think was reprinted anywhere else.

Incredible info, thanks so much. I'm gonna be looking for scans of everything as I'm trying to put together a visual list but if you don't have them handy I'd love to see CSN 213 and maybe a page from starting over. I've never even heard of it before! How come it says 6 parts but there are 7, is that a typo?

Hey Dino. Glad to contribute.

I'll scan the stuff you mentioned (and maybe a few more) by the weekend - the CSN cover is especially nice but isn't that true of all things BWS?
On the 7-issue status of "Starting Over," it appears to have been initially planned as a 6 issue format which ran long. Anyway, I'll get you some scans of it shortly.

And Spider, I'll have to check out that Q&W story in Wizard 76; thanks for the tip. Wouldn't you know my luck? I checked my junk storage boxes (which contains old Wizards) to find 75, 77, 78, & 79....damnit! :!:
