Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

If there was a story there, I might agree with you.

Yeah, shame the story's gone. You don't remember what happened at all? Where was the last place you left it?

I might try one day... it was all about my walks home from school and "discovering" comics, to my working in LCS's when VALIANT first came out, and something else that I was trying to make a point to Chiclo earlier, and that's why I came her elooking for this anyways.....

What was I talking about?

:hm: :| :?

Make something new up. In fact change the story with editing every so often and see what that does to the thread... :hm:

It is a man's lot in life to wonder. A woman's lot is to shop. Or talk. Or both.

I think, therefore I am a comic book fan, posting on a message board. As the famous quote goes...

Slym, it would be fun to hear your story if you ever re-create it.

I knew a guy who worked in the LCS here in Olympia who got into Valiant comics during the speculator craze - he was a speculator himself. Anyway, he used to get his "girlfriends" to buy him pre-Unity Valiants when he would go on dates with them. Can you imagine a male escort taking payment in the form of pre-Unity Valiants :o Now that's a story! Don't know if you ever had any similar "experiences" while working at your LCS but if you didn't, make one up and include it in your story.
