My Valiant Story
Hello everyone. A friend told me about the My Valiant Story and suggested I tell mine. I don't think my story you'll find is much different than most, but here goes.
So I started reading/collecting comics around 1991-1992. This little Unity crossover thing happened around then, you may have heard of it. Valiant was releasing new #1 issues and building a new universe, it was epic. I think it was Eternal Warrior #1 that hooked me on Valiant. I had to get the rest of Unity and everything else I could get my hands on. My first Valiant comic was Magnus Robot Fighter #5. Either way I loved Valiant and felt like they were "mine". I'm sure others feel the same way, I don't mean mine exclusively. That's just it. They're mine and yours too. They were born when I started collecting so I feel connected to Valiant.
Now Valiant has relauanched and I have a new son. It's kinda perfect. I've been subscribing to the whole line since Planet Death. I didn't even realize Valiant was back since I had just got back into comics as well. I got all the issues I'd missed and all of them since. I can't wait to share it all with him. Sometime around 1992 I drew the Valiant compass on my window sill. It's still there. It's my sons room now! I hope he feels the same way I do about Valiant comics. There's a whole universe waiting for him to discover. Thanks for reading!

Re: My Valiant Story
Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the group. I never realized just how many fans there are out there! For an independent publisher Valiant has done well for itself. And they continue to put out the best comics on the shelf each week. I love to see how many people are just finding Valiant now! Many new things to look forward to this year as well.

Nice to come back to more Valiant many years later
I trade as Dead Universe Comics in the UK, which is no surprise to those who know of my legendary Dead Universe habit.

Welcome, sir! Love hearing stories of returned fans who are looking to share the Valiant experience with their children. Pass it on!
