Hi from Ireland!

Post by pixiezilla »

Popping myself in here to say hello :hi:

I'm on the West coast of Ireland where it rains a lot, which is the perfect weather to sit inside and read comics. I've been reading Valiant comics for oh, let's see now... nigh on... 6 months? 7 maybe... Ok, I'm very new here! I love it, started with Ninjak after seeing some covers I liked, then read The Valiant, wow. And from then on, whenever Comixology has a sale my paypal gets a good workout. Big fan of the Eternal Warrior, so I am caught up with his books from the last few years (was sad to see Wrath end) and managed to find a big pile of old random EW issues at a shop in the UK which will be nice to read with a cuppa.

I'm reading Ninjak as it comes out, and am buzzing around between A&A, X-O & Bloodshot Reborn digi-TBPs as the mood takes me. Love Butch Guice's art so I enjoyed seeing his work in some of these. It's been hard avoiding spoilers with Bloodshot Reborn as I am so far behind, several I have seen are verrry interesting so I must speed up my reading to catch up! Settling in to read The Book of Death this evening, and keeping an ever-watchful eye on eBay for affordable Legends of the Geomancer to round that out.

So yeah, that's me. Along with falling down the Valiant rabbit hole I like to read the Cap, Black Widow, Winter Soldier side of Marvel, Wonder Woman & Grayson side of DC, huge fan of Midnighter/Authority, and I could happily spend hours reading anything that Bettie Breitweiser has coloured, so Velvet and all those gorgeous books that Brubaker wrote with Epting/Phillips are right down my street. See, rainy weather = lots of reading time!

Right, that's me! Looking forward to pottering around here :thumb:
