Friend introduced me to the Valiants, was out hunting through a flea market pile, and got really lucky.
Recently, I found a nice x-o that I messed up when I picked it out of the pile, cover tore off completely, so I framed it.
Old Vampi fan, had 60s, and parents consigned the collection to a landfill :(.
Now I'm getting some of the newer ones, been lucky hunting, as well.
On the bright side, I found a Harbinger #1 weeks ago, with coupon, so I guess that offsets, the torn x-o.

I wasn't getting it to sell, but after it tore and I saw what it was, I didn't feel so hot.
Since framing this, I came up with a better method, which I can share. There is acid free thick posterboard, $7 at walmart. I framed a Harley Quinn, another hot book I should just put in a box, but I like the art, so it seems silly to let them all sit in boxes.
Anyhow, I'm having trouble cutting the thicker stuff, gonna try and use a new x-acto again. Had some old blades and it tears the paper part bad.
I measure around the board and bag, cut the space out of the posterboard, and then tape the bag so the book is not resting on the board or anywhere. It's suspended.
Very tedious though, taking apart the frame was tedious, heatgunning the old paper off is time eater.
Anybody have better method to cut the board, please share it.

edit :not sure if i can post picture yet, ok glad it posted,
