Hello everyone from a Newish Valiant Fan
Hi everyone! I first started reading Valiant back in 1999 when Quantum & Woody #32 was published from Acclaim. I know that's a weird place to start but I remember there being lot of hype around the return of the book on line and I bought in and followed all of the issues when it reverted back to its original numbering for a brief run of four issues. At that point I knew very little about the rest of the original Valiant Universe, but I began tracking down Quantum and Woody back issues and with my love of the X-Men a nice Comic Shop dealer told me about the original Valiant Universe and hooked me up with several issues of Harbinger and Dr. Mirage he had in the back issue bins. I didn't read much of the original titles beyond that but over the years I managed to collect all of the original Harbinger run, which quickly became one of my favourite series to hunt for at convention back issue bins.
Fast forward to 2012 and the relaunch of Valiant really piqued my interest. I picked up all of the original four launch titles (of course Harbinger was my favourite) and have stuck with the majority of titles in the line. I really loved the twist on the new Dr. Mirage (although I do wish they'd bring back Carmen in some capacity) and I can't wait for the sequel mini this December and I'm currently loving Ninjak, Bloodshot: Reborn and the Book of Death Titles.
I found this forum while I was trying to find some original Dr. Mirage or Book of Death art for sale, and after seeing some of you guys collections I made my first purchase on the weekend of a page from BoD #3. I'm over in the UK and look forward to getting to know you!

Welcome!
Just curious how you like the new versions of Quantum & Woody, since Q&W was your first introduction to the universe?

I have enjoyed it, it's a different spin on the characters and sometimes the humour can be a bit off but overall I like the VE version a lot more than the Q2 mini.
