Long time lurker, posting now, probable continued lurker
Hi everyone!
I've been lurking around the boards for a few months now, but Bloodshot's key issues for sale thread finally motivated me to join and start posting. Also to buy lots of stuff from him, which is great for my collection, bad for my wallet.
I missed the VH1 era of Valiant back in the day. My dad and I were into comics at the time, and I remember hearing the term "Pre-Unity" thrown around at the time, but never read any Valiant books or followed the company. Fast forward 20 years and I am now an employed, married adult with a 1 year old daughter. I was searching for something else on Amazon and came across to Archer and Armstrong deluxe hardcover. Something about that name tickled the 90's comics part of my brain and I bought it on impulse. Then I read it, fell in love, and bought Harbinger, then X-O, then the Humble Bundle....
Now, I'm starting my VH1 collection from discount bins and Jay's thread and immersing myself in Valiant lore. I have a friend for whom I've pulled the occasional Magnus: Robot Fighter out of a discount bin who's wondering what took me so long, so I have some local support, and this board.
Stupid Amazon suggested items. Now there's no going back!

Welcome to the boards! It's fun here.
Most important question: pro- or anti-Canadian?
Definitely. I'm still mostly a lurker...
I really should post more...

Either would be an honor, but since Zarthras have sad life, and sad death (at least there is symmetry) I would have to go with Zarathurstra... IN all hnonesty, it's the latter. The missing letter is because whatever board I initially tried to use that name on already had a "Zarathustra" so I dropped the "u"

Sorry to disappoint, but my family is actually Canadian. In fact, I have a FRENCH-Canadian last name.
