Blood convert
My own Valiant fanboy story starts with believe it or not 4chan, where I often frequent /co/ among others. While on a Malibu Ultraverse high I learned about Valiant (though I had previously only known them for the "Nintendo Comics System" line) and how well regarded it was. Let me just say, for the record, that I had for the most part completely given up on American comics ever being good again. There's way too many bland "cape" stories out there and the only thing I stayed current on was 2000 AD and the Megazine for the sake of Judge Dredd.
I started off with some of the older stories like X-O, Bloodshot, and Rai and moved into the newer relaunches which were nice little surprises in their own right. Though up until #14 I honestly had my doubts about the newest iteration of Bloodshot.
Anywho, been considering joining for a week or so, so I'm happy to be amongst you all

Welcome to the boards! It's fun here as long as you avoid the stinking Canadian hordes (including MarkRoseHFX and hawkeyeps). They seem all sweet at first, but they're merely biding their time until their completely non-violent and non-bloody take over. 
Glad that you are enjoying the Valiant stuff. Bloodshot is my favorite lead character in the line.
