greetings from argentina!!! (froget my english pleasee!!)
I collect comics about 20 years now but i didnt hear of valiant until 2011, exept for a single character: Magnus Robot Fighter
The first time i see him, was in a catalog of comics published by editorial norma, the cover in question was from the trade paperback of magnus robot figther vs predator.
At my 12 years, that really blow my mind in many levels: " the predator in a simil karate fighting position?" " and who's this guy? is a man who fights robots? an android fighter? a cyborg?" after that first impresion, im put in the task to find that book... but i never can found it..
many years later, at 2011 i was checking some sotres of used comics when i saw a peculiar comic, without the cover, but the title shocks me: magnus robot fighter #51.
i buy it for $2 pesos ( less than 30 cents of dollar) and it leave me hungry for more.
i search in all buenos aires an finally found M.R.F #26 and another 3 magazines of the same editorial of magnus, something called VALIANT... i check that books but i dont buy they ( and, to this day, i regret it) seme called "harbinger " or "archer and armstrong " they looked good, but i dont have more money that day and i only brougth magnus... but i can't froget that books....
So that was the begining of a love story who endures until today: finaly i got the mrf vs predator ( the dark horse tpb) and more titles, like bloodshot or harbinger.
i have to say: here in argentina is realy rare to find valiant material ( as far as i know, i am the ONLY collector of valiant here) and people never heard of it ( and its an adventage) but i managed to find things like bloodshot ( 0 to 8 and the last number of the vh1) xo manowar retribution tpb and other rarytis, but magnus its the harder to find next to eternal warrior ( but by miracle i have the #64).
and that is my valiant story, i start too late, but i really found a real love with these characters and their storys, a love to live with me as far as i live in this time ( or another, if i survie a fall on a time arch) i really thank you for give me the chance to be part of this comunity, and i do my best to improve it.

Welcome to the board! It's fun here.
I'd make my typical joke about Canadians, but I'm afraid it might get lost in translation.
No worries about the English. I couldn't converse in another language to save my life, and most of the native English-speaking members here have worse English skills than you.
