Okay, I was apart of this message board before but my previous email was deleted and I forgot my board name and password so I decided to re-up. Anyway my name is Matt, 37 years old and my
first Valiant comic was Shadowman #8 the first appearance of Darque. Truthfully the storyline that followed scared the crap out of me, with the blood runners and Darque trying to do some mass human sacrifice. Brrrr. Gave me the shivers. Needless to say the rest is history. I collected Shadowman, Eternal Warrior, Bloodshot and HARD Corps. Of course Valiant went bankrupt and now it's back and so am I. Right now I buying Bloodshot and will continue to follow it, Eternal Warrior, but I'm going to drop it after issue 8. I'm not impressed with it. Unity, love it! Finally I'll be picking up Rai in May. Been looking forward to that one for a long time. Thanks for reading.

Matt

Welcome!

It's cool to meet someone who refuses to buy a title if it isn't good. I keep buying Quantum and Woody even though I don't like it yet. Sigh. But, I'm getting the whole line, at least for now, so I'll stick with it.

But I don't blame you! :rant: Eternal Warrior needs to find its direction before it loses too many readers. I feel the same way right now about Quantum and Woody and Shadowman. IMO, Eternal Warrior and Shadowman could be, and should be, really good titles, but seem to be in a lull.

The rest of the titles I really like. I think Harbinger, XO, Unity, Archer and Armstrong, and Bloodshot/HC are all going strong. Of those I like Bloodshot/HC the least, though I still think it's pretty good. The rest of them I love, and I think Rai is going to be really good. I'm also very excited about Second Life of Dr. Mirage, I bet that will be a solid title.

Anyway, so glad to have you on the boards! Welcome!
For my Valiant: Kindle Worlds stories, check out my amazon author central page, http://www.amazon.com/Richmond-West/e/B ... 204&sr=8-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sort by price low to high, and the Valiant Kindle Worlds stories will pop to the top. :)

I am another who buys Quantum and Woody despite not enjoying it. I should know better, but have yet to act on that knowledge... :|
