My 1-Year Anniversary...
...with ValiantFans.com
And almost 2500 posts!
I just wanted to say thank you to the community here for the great interactions over the past year. After lurking around the site for years, I finally joined the boards when VALIANT began announcing its return. Now I find myself obsessively checking the board to discuss everything from new books to sales to the merits of Canadian bacon
The past year and a half has not been the easiest for me...My wife and I were both struggling with adding our first child to our family when she decided to quit her job, return to school full time and pursue a new career in teaching. Her full time status, classes, student teaching, and now her first year teaching (thank god she found a job right away ) left me with more responsibilities than I could handle at times and very little time to myself (though you'd never know it by the # of posts ). On top of that, changes at my "underperforming" school district, a single income household and taking care of my son often on my own, has led to a lot of stress and an awesome new anxiety disorder
This board has really provided me with a fun distraction and outlet in my spare time...its been very good for me and I consider VFans almost like a second family now.
So again, thanks to Greg, the OTV crew, the Nanny Boo Boo Club, the Old Guard and the New Blood for a great year.
And here's to another year of VALIANT successes and off-topic discussions with Chiclo...cheers!

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Happy One Year!
I can't believe how many posts you have in just one year.
It's taken me so long....

This board wouldn't be the same without you, Bugs!

If I was actually the first to call Bugsy the Scoop Ninja, I'll gladly take full credit
