Solar Squad ATTACK!
What’s up Guys and Gals! What a nice site, what took me so long to finally jump in!?! Anyways I was a small little 8th grader back in Aroura IL (Wayne's world, our claim to fame) when I happened upon good old Valiant. I was staring at a Solar 10 in its almighty black hole of a cover at a comics store, I remember it was like 50 bucks way out of my price range... I remember thinking wow it looked like it meant business... So I dove into a more affordable comic line Shadowman, then that led me to X-O, and that drove me right over to Solar the man of atom... So I bartered and wheeled and dealed for the best prices, at the Chicago comic-cons, stores, and comics shows I even snuck a few extra back issues into my bags (what a bad boy!) Until I had amassed them all, all the pre-unity and unity issues in all their near mint glory!!! And so they then sat dormant for many years in apartment closet after closet, until a few months ago I opened them up some 15 years later sheeesh, and you know they get better with age! You can’t really understand the depths of Erica Pierce or the split personalities of solar when your that young. Needless to say I'm hooked all over again and I feel like it’s a little time capsule treasure chest and I'm glad I held onto them all!!
