OK, what did it mean when Hobo said the other night that MOTA was a d!ck but that he also had vaginal qualities tooChiclo wrote:You said that you were not meditating under a mango tree during your 20s.Dr. Solar wrote:i don't get itLightning Strike wrote:X-O HoboJoe wrote:So, uh . . . just what DID you do to that mango tree?Dr. Solar wrote:Welcome to the bored.
Cool story. At least the parts I read. I at least skimmed through it all.
My first comic was G.I. Joe also. Issue 85.
I wasn't elected senior king of the sweetheart dance though.
I was elected most likely to spend his 20s meditating under a mango tree. My 20s are almost up and boy did I prove THEM wrong.
They asked what you were doing under the tree, implying you were still there but not meditating.
The implication is that you were beating your meat like it owes you money under a mango tree during your 20s.

Welcome to the Boards. I loved your story.
I recently told a friend about winning the the first annual Dungeons & Dragons tournament in Spokane about 25 years ago and the next thing I know, it was a part of my bio that was read aloud to a room of about 400 firefighters when I was named Honorary Firefighter of the Year for 2007.
I WISH I had said I collected comics instead.

I guess there is always something worse than collecting comics. Out of interest who is below the D&D guys on the nerd pecking order?

I saw a promo for the 25th Annual D&D tournament is Spokane last year and I almost contacted them to see if I could get a "Legends" exemption to compete again like the PGA Masters.
