Continuing my hobby of searching CGC sales made by mycomicshop on eBay. I consistently see a lot of Star Wars slabs sold.

My guess is that a lot of these high profile books get fake buyers, like 10 year olds using their parent's cell phone.

Wow. Good eye. What's the name of that service that lists all slab sales and their prices? Something like this could screw them up couldn't it?
Also, I wonder how they determined it was a hoax purchase only a few hours after it was made. I checked and the relisted book has the same serial number as the "sold" one, so it's surely the same book relisted.

Further, the book is no longer listed under mycomicshop's sold items. That was taken care of quickly.

http://www.GPAnalysis.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is the website that has been compiling CGC sales for 15 years or so... they have Ebay and several of the bigger auctions/retailers in their database.

When books are relisted within days, GPAnalysis makes a note that the "prior sale" may not have happened.
