Make CGC's More Enjoyable & Put Your True Believer's To Work
This is a simple solution that I've been doing for years with some of my bigger CGC books. Encapsulating a book means preserving that particular example in a nicely presentable format that's easy on the eyes, but it also means that the cover is all your eyes are ever going to see of the book again. This method means that you won't have to search for raw readers, and let's you put those shelf warming "True Believer's" reprints to work for you. I used to do this with the Marvel Milestone editions, but the True Believer's books work just as well while actually being cheaper.
I just throw one in my corresponding CGC mylar so that it rests in the back of the well. Now when you are looking at your graded books, you can use the True Believer's book as your reader. It's just a cool addition to your slabs, and makes these True Believer's books a little more worthwhile. Here are two examples of how I do it....

- Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

Love this idea, and I’ve done this with a few readers and my slabs. Yesterday, I bought. True Believers BWS Conan 1in 9.8 raw. Told the shopkeeper, finally, I’m going to get my Conan 1 in 9.8! He laughed, and said yep. I’m slabbing that *SQUEE*.

Great idea! I just went out and bought a used copy of “Showcase Presents: Batgirl” so I could read Detective Comics #359, which matches up with my new slab. It was cool to see what was inside my graded book.
