Question About Valiant Free-View

Post by bribri »

I'm trying to get more info on the Valiant Free-View, as I do not yet have one.

I thought I read on the boards that they were included in some of the Armada books? Am I making this up? I can't seem to find the thread again.

Anyway, I was wondering if they were inserted in books just like Armorines 0 was in X-O 25. If so, do you have to remove the staples to separate it from the book it came with? I noticed the scan on the website, and the staple holes look a little rough.

Furthermore, I was wondering what the actual content of the book is. Is it just a few pictures, or does it have brief sections of the books it's previewing?

If I remember right they were distributed a few different ways. They were poly bagged with one or 2 Magic books. I think someone said maybe bagged with a previews or price guide. And I remember that stores could order them to sell or give away as well.

There is a first and second print. Which may have been do to the different ways it was distributed.

The content is a 2 or 3 page preview of each of the Birthquake titles.

The one I got with a Magic book is a second print. Is it like that for all? I also have a first print, and I believe I got it from a comic shop.

No. It was included in the Poly bag.
