I’m hoping they move on to an overall new art direction. It reminds me of some of the Acclaim titles, such as Ninjak, Troublemakers, and the Readers. I don’t mind for an occasional title like Faith or Valiant High, but likewide, it’s not my preference.

Shadowman- Cullen Bunn is 50/50 with Valiant, so I guess we'll see.
Savage- Disappointed to see that it's lacking B. Clay Moore and an ultra-realistic artist like LaRosa.
X-O Manowar- Depends on the first 3 issues.
Bloodshot- Dropped.
The Final Witness- No interest at all really.

Only two books I'm actually excited for: Rai and Dr. Tomorrow.

Nothing too exciting, my confidence in the current editorial is not good.

Savage #1 I’ll give it a go but my expectations are on the down low. Art very cartoony, not heard of the writer.

XO #4 - dubious of the direction this is going in after reading a preview to #1. Covers are so cliché for XO and have been for a long time. How many times can we see him holidaying the sword or on a planet?!?

Final Witness #3 this book I’m genuinely looking forward to, concept sounds great

Rai #8 this has been solid each month

Dr Tomorrow- picking it up but not sure if I’m interested in it

Not picking the others stuff up.

According to a place called internet mostly Marvel stuff and WWE (from Boom).

On comicbookroundup he has an average rating from nearly 8.0 but those ratings don't mean all that much anyway.

Who cares about comics for June 2020 right now?

I just read that 48 states have already declared state of emergency.

Here in Germany they haven't even officially declared SeO and/or any strict curfew but it's just a matter of time really. They have already ordered all non-existential stores to close their doors. In theory my LCS could still do mail order; at least as long as the post offices are still allowed to be open. However, as a result of the travel/flight ban between the US and most EU countries, Diamond will not be able to ship any comics to Germany anymore. This week's shipment was the last one. My LCS will still be able to order but for how long will their customers be willing to pay for comics that cannot be delivered and for how long will Diamond store these comics anyway? This situation sucks.....and the comics for June 2020 are not on top of the list of things I care about at this point.

Who "cares" about lots of things right now, but at least comics are a nice diversion.

If this listing is correct and Shadowman #2 has a 1:100 variant it will likely be the scarest cover Valiant produces yet. However it would make a lot more sense if it was an error in the listing and the 1:100 cover was for Savage #1 as for the past year Valiant has been putting out 1:100 /1:250 covers for number 1 issues and has not released a super rare number 2 issue in years.

Now that would be interesting....

According to Diamond it's also a 1:100
https://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/APR202128

And Diamond doesn't list any of the Savage covers as incentive either.

In theory zero to three copies should maybe exist then as I can’t see any (except maybe a Midtown Comics or Mile High Comics) ordering 100 copies of Shadowman #2 to qualify for the incentive cover.

Well, at this point it's hard to tell if and when this comic will be released.

My LCS is looking to order one for me...if it can survive the virus.
