I saw Bloodshot in a BIG HOLLYWOOD MOVIE...from 1999!(aptly)

Bet you didn't know Bloodshot was already in a Warner bros movie 20 years ago..
but 1st a little context..
Ever heard of 'the matrix'?
Before the boards went down in 2004, there used to be a thread by myself and Greg, that talked about the Wachowski Bros. (Girls?), (Humans?)
love of VH1, and the MANY similarities (rip offs) that the Matrix movies had to the valiant universe.
Right away the humans as batteries in pods was a direct swipe from Tony bedards magnus run, clearly..
Also, in the Animatrix, its pretty much an homage to Magnus Robot fighter, the 1st two sections..and of course the Harbinger Wars (vh1) imagery with the giant radar on top of tank..anyway
So I watched the matrix (again) in a 4k Blu ray Upsample, and whoa! another valiant easter egg
so in the scene where neo is getting rescued from the pods by the resistance, he is pulled out of the water, and really FOR NO REASON AT ALL, he is completely pale white with a giant red circle on his chest...literally Rai #0, why the red circle....no reason..
did it serve any purpose? is it in any of the rest of the movie? No! haha
The Wachowski People came from comics, i read hellraiser comics by them in the mid 90s, everyone knows they ripped a lot of concepts from 'the invisibles', but not a lot gets mentioned about their valiant swipes...haha

completely unrelated I met Brian Michael Bendis yesterday at his house! its a big *SQUEE* house! he gave me the man of steel tpb and the 1st issue of something called event leviathan? wtf is that? to read... man of steel was not what i hoped and was not very good imho...very nice dude tho!!! the end

In all my vh1 thinking I never made the connection that nio was the inspiration for neo, at least the name.. I forgot what that comic is about and its not on rco...
