Whats the good word? Its been a while...

Post by IanAlexavier »

Hello fellows!

Its been forever since Ive been here. Whats the word on the new books? Honestly, I was hoping things would have gone down differently regarding the title, story telling, and chronology.

Is there agreements on which books are the best? Is there a main story line that is taking the company forward? It seems scattered based on what Im looking at.

Its good to see you all here and still chatting! :thumb:

Things have been a little disconnected recently. But it did occur to me that Valiant might want to hold back a little for now and then make a big push with some new titles in the new year. If they had a few number 1s of their top characters out around the time of the Bloodshot movie, that might pull a bunch of new readers in

Hi Buddy. Long time no see.
I am really enjoying Punk Mambo.
Only issue 1 and 2 out as if now.
Hope you have been well.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Everything's been pretty haphazard and disconnected lately, unsurprisingly. However, I've actually been pretty happy with Valiant's 2019 output, and I'm excited to see what happens next.

Faith: Dreamside- Solid. One of Faith's best stories.
Bloodshot Rising Spirit- Garbage.
Livewire- Good, not great. It's a god-send for the character when taking into account the events of HW2.
Incursion- Great. Just a simple alien invasion story with Gilad and Tama at the center, with major implications for the future.
Forgotten Queen- Not as bad as it could have been, but sort of boring, and the main character is still annoying af.
Life and Death of Toyo Harada- Transcendental (so far).
Punk Mambo- Really, really great. Only two issues in and it's looking to be something special.
Fallen World- The first issue sort of blew my mind, while the second was still solid, but had some minor problems.

Next up is Psi-Lords, KIllers, Dr. Mirage, Bloodshot (ongoing), X-O (ongoing), and two mystery books.

Sounds like a great plan. Is the movie to come out next year?

Hey brother! I hope you are doing well too! I haven't picked up any books in a long time. The only book im reading at this time is "12 Rules for Life" by Jordan Peterson. It's a good mix of philosophy, world view, religion, and psychology. Its deep but I'm enjoying it. :)
