Bloodshot movie test screening reviews

Post by syzhang28 »

I saw on the facebook group that Dinesh and Sony did an early test screening of the Bloodshot movie :o Does that mean it's done?? Does anyone have any information? The one post on the facebook group said they couldn't say much but seemed very happy with the movie.

It's in post production. I believe it was Rucker who went to the screening.

But as I understand it, there are reports of multiple Valiant Universe Easter eggs for fans like us to look for and enjoy! :thumb:

Does the trailer/Easter eggs seem to be giving off more of a VEI vibe?... or old school VH1?

I hope this movie has a 2012 comic feel to it.

I got to see a four minute montage of the movie on Dino's phone at Wondercon. I told him it would be easier to just email it to me but :? .
Now what he showed me was footage that didn't have any special effects added in yet, but, WOW!!! It's like a real movie type movie! For real! With Vin Diesel! As Bloodshot!!! :o

I don't have a whole lot to add other than that, but it looked really good. I'm really, really excited to see a Valiant movie (Bloodshot, no less) in the theaters. It's twelve-year-old me's dream come true. :cloud9:

"WOW!!! It's like a real movie type movie!"

Does that mean it is a step up from Ninjak VS? :hope: (ha,ha)

I liked Ninjak VS for what it was. But, yeah, Bloodshot is the real deal.

Really looking forward to this. But, I do hope that there's something about it that's different enough from other super-hero and action movies that it doesn't get lost in the genre for those that aren't already familiar with the character.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I know it’s not intentional, but this post is the best Dino-baiting I’ve read yet. Dino has ESP for this kind of thing, and miraculously logs on to comfort and inspire wherever there’s uncertainty or anxiety. Maybe Dino really is Santa Claus?

I am looking forward to the movie.
Part of it is to see what other characters appear, or are named.
Just to see Valiant on the big screen, and Dino actualizing his dream of producing movies.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

I’ve seen it. The full flick.

It’s better than good. Maybe not great.

But better than good.

Much better than I thought and I had high hopes.

I can’t say any specifics about the plot or story or characters, But I can say:

There is a story.
You hate who you are supposed to hate, and like who you are suppose to like
There are times where they could have done the obvious thing. And they don’t.

There ARE ...... Easter eggs. There is one “grab your chair part” if you know what it is.

There is a scene that is as good as ANYTHING I’ve seen like it.

I have not seen the end credit scenes. But I was told what they were thinking about doing
(mind blown!!!!!!!)

And.

Some here had some fun with my comment a while ago about Vin being on the Tongiht Show talking about Bloodshot.

Well. That’s going to happen also.

Valiant will have their chance.
The movie is very good.

I was curious as to what it might release against, and the site I found has nothing else listed. (It's certainly not the only film releasing that week, but probably not up against anything bib.) It's releasing 2 weeks after Birds of Prey, and a week after a Kingsman prequel and an untitled WB event film. Not sure if that could have any connection to DC, but probably not, a week after Birds of Prey, unless they're working on something huge.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

OK Bloodshot movie ... blah, blah, blah ... the important thing is YOU WERE AT WONDERCON AND DIDN'T TEXT ME!!!!! WTH man!

Seriously though Bloodshot's my favorite character so yeah, I'm excited to see it. I'm excited. talked to Elveen at the show about it, but Dinish and I spent most of our time together talking about other stuff that is going to surprise when it hits!

I just Googled it. Says February 21, 2020 in a number of places.

Yeah guys I really enjoyed the movie. My son and daughter (17&18) both enjoyed the movie. I loved the Easter eggs! The potential is thrilling. I can't wait to watch with a bunch of valiant peeps! The action scenes are fun and exciting. I threw my 2 cents in on a couple things, but I was very pleased with the movie overall. :D

That's awesome to hear. I'm guessing it was a rough cut of the movie? And how were you lucky enough to see it?

They had a screening in Long Beach. Just lucky, though honestly I think they wanted to know what my kids thought of it more than me..lol. They said it was early and lots could still change... Like I said though, I enjoyed it. Very cool seeing this on the big screen, and I can't wait to see the completed version.
