Valiant's anarchist princess of magic Punk Mambo is breaking out with her first solo series - and she''ll be joined by royalty: Marie Laveau, the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans...
Cullen Bunn spoke with Newsarama about Punk Mambo, his own ties to New Orleans and its culture, and how he sees Punk Mambo fitting into Valiant's world.

Whoa, I would be totally into this even if I had never picked up a Shadowman comic before. All the covers look fantastic. Love the logo.

I'm getting pretty excited for this. A friend of mine who hangs out with Adam Gorham on occasion has seen some of the art pages for this & he's quite impressed by them. I'm a fan of his work too, so I'm hopeful this story rocks!
edit: I should mention that my friend is an artist, Adam is not going around showing off stuff in public that he shouldn't be yet.

I like to draw stuff... http://grendeljd.deviantart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
My wife likes to draw stuff too, and she is better than me! [I'm very proud of her]... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sara-Dec ... ref=stream" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wait, didn't they just announce a series about a female side character with the side of her head shaved sticking her tongue out?
yup I found it.
Aha. Cool?
I guess I'm getting older and don't keep up with a lot of trends, but does this tongue gesture have any special meaning or significance?

It means quite a bit with a certain hand gesture.Ryan wrote:Wait, didn't they just announce a series about a female side character with the side of her head shaved sticking her tongue out?
