Shadowman movie???

Anyone have any current information about the Shadowman movie? There was a lot of discussion 2-3 years back, but I guess with Acclaim being in dire straits-------the project has been shelved?

The movie would have starred Ice-T as Shadowman and probably based on Volume 2 or 3 Shadowman Acclaim. Anyone have an idea of what is happening now??

I had talked to Barry Levine a couple months ago, who now works for Dark Horse but still is handling some of the Valiant/Accliam Hollywood properties. He had said that the Shadowman movie was still going forward, albeit slowly. Way behind that was the Quantum and Woody movie, moving ALOT slower.

Will they come out...I'm sure only time will tell. But neither movie has been called 'dead' yet...though at this rate, I'm sure the term 'zombie' could be applied.

I first read that as Mister T instead of Ice T. Honestly, I would pay to see a Mister T Shadowman movie. Twice.

I would totally be down for that. Now I think about it, I'm pretty sure there's no other sucka that could do the silver screen property justice. I just don't know why someone hasn't spotted this until now

I do wonder whether JMS's script was ever finalized for a Shadowman movie.
