How much does it go for?
Since its retunable on qualifacation and comic shops can buy 50 glass covers it should be about 10.00 each

Where are you getting this information?

I found this here: https://www.bleedingcool.com/2018/08/20 ... ng-spirit/
UPDATE: An earlier version of this article mistakenly claimed that unlimited numbers of the glass variant could be ordered after a shop ordered 250 copies, when it is actually 1 variant per 250 copies of Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1. Also, Valiant says they won’t ship through Diamond, but directly from Valiant to the store.
Both DCBS and Midtown Comics are not currently offering it in their previews (they did offer the Metals).

With friends like these, why would Valiant need enemies?

(Yeah-yeah, I know about the returnable copies, etc., I’m just saying)

All just hype buys. Anyone purchasing for better than $200 - $250 is just wrong.

These prices will fall when the book comes out

I usually score these for $300 from my LCS, plus I get all the variants (multiple copies).

I expect a slight premium for this one since it's the first of the glass covers.

We are getting 2, one is sold, and the other one is available. $300 firm right now.

Dare to guess how fragile these are? How risky would international shipping be?

They ARE glass. Vei will ship them to us and we plan to use their packaging, in another layer to ship to whomever buys from us. It will be hard to guarantee it, specially overseas. Maybe with a bunch of other books around it

I am just guessing.... but I would think these covers would be sturdy. I would think that they would be similar to a screen protector for your phone. Strong and thin (shatter proof glass?).

Does anyone have some inside knowledge here?

Super curious as to the gauge of the glass. I don't imagine CGC will slab them, but it would be neat to have all the 1:250s in 9.8 cases.

Why would international shipping be any more risky than domestic shipping? It would just be sitting in a plane longer but the amount it is handled shouldn't be any different.

facebook video looks really lame. I dont understand why its glass. at least the metal covers, which i actually really like, showed the metal as part of the image and made sense (metal nanites from bloodshot, metal weapons from ninjak, metal armor from xo etc).

this also looks like it will break...

is it confirmed that cgc will not grade these? Its amazing how many things the 2012 crew buttoned up before they would do something. wish this new crew would at least continue that

I've been talking to a couple of "slabbers" that are currently at NYCC, and he stated that Valiant gave them (CGC) a handful of books to see if they are slabable. Right now, there is no news, but I am sure as we get closer to the kick off of this series, we will know 100% one way or the other.

The person who talked to both Valiant and CGC is a major slabber, I do believe he currently owns the cert for most X-O Manowar covers in the CGC registry (2012 and 2017 I think). Anyways, his inspection of the glass covered book was a positive one. He thinks they should be able to be slabbed with no problems.

But, he isn't CGC, so we will wait

Livewire #1 will also have a glass variant. Livewire #1 is also fully returnable.

This happened with the metal covers, too. Valiant talked to CGC after they came out. If Anthony is talking to CGC, I’m sure we’ll get an informed answer.
