Episode 1-5 of Ninjak Vs. The Valiant Universe is available now.

It looks like the delay could have been DMG looking for an alternate distributor instead of just using Youtube.

On a similar note, do spoiler discussions go in the Published Issues section?

No spoilers, but that was much better than I was expecting!

Couple of Easter Eggs I noticed:
This had been mentioned before, but the notepad in Neville’s drawer that says “Where’s the Savage?”

Master Darque’s tatoos on the entrance to the temple in the beginning.
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.
The thing about Arsenal is they always try to walk it in...

Loved it! Hopefully this series reaches a lot of people. BatintheSun hasn't uploaded a video on the Youtube channel to redirect their viewers to comicbook.com. I wonder if the show will help fill in new fans on the backstories of Valiant heroes.

Overall I thought it was excellent. Very ambitious from the film makers and the special fx are better than I’d anticipated. You could see from the trailers that the acting wasn’t going to be great but I think you have to look past that. Fights scenes were very impressive too.

4.5/5  Well done to all involved in the making

I posted this on Facebook but I want to repeat it here. We here have been more positive than facebook trolls, so this is not a reflection of anyone, just a request going forward:

Guys, if you criticize acting in what basically is a "fan film" with a budget of what is a daily budget on a Hollywood movie, for the whole set of episodes, check yourself please. Please use this opportunity to introduce new people to the world of Valiant wisely, by not being negative of what is essentially a promotion to make Valiant characters more visible online while waiting for the big screen things to happen. And it's Dinesh's baby, so let's not *SQUEE* on it.

I really enjoyed seeing the characters we know and love come to life on the screen. :cloud9: I especially liked how the comic version of the characters were used in the opening credits. Well done! :thumb:

I prepared for "low budget SyFy Channel levels of bad" so I'm happy to say that was very enjoyable.

You can't be 3% of Marvel and DC comic sales and put out a free movie online that rivals Avengers.

Trolls are... well... trolls.

Tell them to go watch that Marvel "first try" classic with Nick Fury as played by David Hasselhoff and come back to Valiant when they get pubes.

I thought they did a terrific job! I wouldn’t have been surprised if someone had said this was a marvel show on tv. I thought the production quality was just as high as a number of marvel shows. I think this is a good introduction to Valiant for the average person.

I really liked it! I had a few hopes going into it:
1. The story needed to be serviceable, but I'm not expecting anything amazing.
2. The fight scenes need to land somewhere between CW and Netflix quality.

I'd say, by my metrics, the first episode succeeded with flying colors!

The acting honestly isn't a huge issue, but I did expect a little more. That said, the characters all look the part and the costumes were pretty great. Some random thoughts:
Has Livewire always been able to suck electricity from sources around here and redirect it into energy blasts?

*SQUEE*, that X-O scene was so f***ing cool! :high-five:

It seems strange that Ninjak didn't have an english accent...

it looked awesome!

There is a reason that the actors in Hollywierd get paid so SO much money.

I mean its NOT a feature film. It's FREE on youtube.

I loved it.

Im going to call orages orages and apples well you know not strawberries.
I had a little tear of Joy through the whole thing. Ive been waiting like 27 years for this.
I enjoyed the humor of mustard and streching in the elevator.
4.75 out of 5. I loved the eternal warrior part. And the sonic device. Did you see how far he walked to get his arrows. Atleast 40 yards bang on. Broad heads dont pull out of trees that easy Ill tell ya now usuelly they are garbage after.
Aric omg. No long hair but awesome introduction.

That is my one major gripe with this micro-budget production. I would rather have a bad English accent as opposed to Ninjak saying ""SQUEE* it, I'm canadian now."

Were there any Marvel movies before that?

I really meant Marvel's "modern first try", since 1998 wasn't pre-CGI.

Wow that second episode was great.
I really liked the first shot in colins house. Do you see the sun coming through the window. Pure gold. I thought the fight with bloodshot was a little short well the whole episode.
So far my favorite charater is Gilad he looks so accurate right down to what he sounds like.
My only issue is the time line of Nevels daughter. 1 year ago she was like 1 or 2 with her mother telling her stories in the cell she looks way older than a year ago.
I wish Colin opened the book I would have loved to see the pages.
Still on cloud 9 :cloud9:

The second episode was much shorter, but still good. I’m wondering now, what the total runtime might be.... :thumb:

I know they needed a big Hollywood star to play Bloodshot, but I really like this guy Jason David Frank, as Bloodshot.... :?

faults aside i dig it and pretty much what i expected from a Batinthesun production but dig it none the less

their costumes were made for film, they translated so well. glad they didnt modernize them for the feature like marvel has done with some characters.

I was not aware Capshaw dressed so...... like a grunt. I expected her in a generals uniform with her stars and bars. Not that im complaining at all.

where can I find the daily drops for the videos? im having a really really hard time finding them.
