Usually, in the solicitations, there's a little banner that says "VALIANT PREMIUM" underneath X-O and Bloodshot, but it's simply not there in May.

I agree with you this was a huge selling point for me.
Some minis I probably wouldnt have tried had it been prestige format.
The feel of the comics are very special.
Rip alot of stuff Dinesh did. Im worried when they dont reply to emails or stop sendi g out golds for doing thing for valiant. Its what makes valiant so good

You're right - it is what makes Valiant so good. Having said that, hypothetically speaking, I think we all should have expected that there would come a day when this kind of behaviour from the company was no longer feasable, whether due to success and growth, or buyout by another company with management changes, etc...

With the announcement of "Life and Death of Toya Harada" 6 issue series for next year in the format it seems they will use it for certain projects only
