Who is your preferred artist for this series? More than one answer is acceptable because if the X-O reboot is any indication, Valiant will likely attach a new artist to each individual arc.

Just to get this thing started, Ben Templesmith would be fantastic, IMO.

Depends on the direction they go with it, but Roberto de la Torre would make me happy.

I don't really care as long as it isn't the guy who drew End Times and as long as they go back to the original character design and lose the Magpie thing.

Tim Bradstreet I think could bring a dark gritty feel. I'm just excited for Shadowman to come back.

Andrea Sorrentino... I think his style would be a perfect fit. Unfortunately, he's Marvel exclusive. facepalm

They will probably switch artists between story arcs anyway so.... :?

Dinesh already said Shadowman will get the XO treat next year hence Valiant will let the/their best artists draw Shadowman.

It's not coming until March. That means it will be in the January Previews, so we probably won't get more details until early December.

Juan Ferreyra - just read COLDER and you'll see how chilling and suspenseful his work can be.

Templesmith would be pretty outstanding, but only for an arc or two. Word is, he's slow to get the art in. Still, his stuff is creepy and dark, and it sells! I just might sneak in that question when I see him here in a couple of weeks...

Templesmith is the right direction, but I think it would be fun bringing in new blood here too, someone new. Any of the other artists in the Valiant stable would be good, as I do believe there will be a rotation.

I do like Templesmith's stuff, but he seems too flaky to me. He'll typically start a comic off, draw a few issues and then get bored and ditch the book in favour of his next title fancy. I'd rather have someone more reliable on the book so that the art stays consistent throughout the title's run.

I'd love to see a combo of artists. For example, maybe use Larosa to draw the Deadside scenes and another artist (Juan Jose Ryp perhaps) for the other scenes.

Greg smallwood ! As i already said in the writer poll, with Jeff Lemire, it would be awesome. Did anyone read their run on Moon knight (marvel) ? One of my favourite read this year. The art was gorgeous. And look at this teaser ! I love it !

Exactly! This artist could bring a touch perhaps a little more "modern" to the character, compared to the previous series which was quite traditional in its design, and, at the same time, attract new readers.
