Mail in Offer for Harbinger Renegades: $10 S & H?

Post by geraldkw »

I was excited to see a mail in since I was planning to get HR 1-4 but does $10 for "Shipping and Handling" seem like a bad deal? Having to buy 4 other books and pay 2.5 times as much as I would for a normal comic seems ridiculous.

What are people's views on this offer? Is anyone considering getting it besides me? Does anyone else considering getting it feel like a sucker?

I've been purchasing 5 books each, 3 sets to send in and 2 to keep intact. I figure $30 is fine by what I normally spend, so I'm good with it

Thanks for helping keep Valiant in business! I am not that intense of a collector but I have considered buying a second set to keep intact also.

I have a friend and a nephew that enjoy Valiant, the others are for them. I did the same thing with XO Manowar as well, 5+ as I was hunting for original art. Found one, in one of my #50's

I can't afford to get extra variants so I decided not to get an extra copy coupon intact. I got a issue 1 intact reg cover but that's it except for the hr gold which is intact.
I plan to get two of the Harbinger Wars #2 #0 one to keep unread and one to keep mint. I don't think it's a scam. I do like how Valiant does thing that are fun. 20.00 American for two book yes it's pricy and more than I'd pay X 5 comics. But this isn't all the time it's a one chance special. I ain't missing.
I Miss the good old days.

Nobody's forcing anyone to buy another set. What's the harm of removing the coupons from the four books? Either you're a collector who's used to spending more money on additional issues or you're just an ordinary guy and reader of Valiant comics.

The $10 bucks are not meant for S & H only. You will get an exclusive comic book including S & H.

I'm from Germany and have no chance to send-in my coupons and receive a copy of HWARS2#0 whatsoever. I'd be happy to spend only $10 bucks. Thanks for that, Valiant! Thanks for taking care of my near-mint copies!

I'll have to spend way more money on getting a copy later on but I'm used to it and shouldn't complain either since nobody's forcing me to read US comics in the first place. (It's all Batman's fault!)

Planning on getting two copies myself, now if I could just start to remember to pick the extra copies up the first time I am at the store!

One copy for me ... I don't chase after the VEI variants like I do VH1 ... although I have more Rai VEI variants that a casual VEI collector really should have...

Something tells me someone here  may possibly have sets of coupons at a great price after all 4 issues come out. I don't know who it would be but look for a thread in a month or so

So I have a question for those sending in the coupons. I have 4 sets of coupons to send in. Can you send these in all at once with one check for $40.00, or do you have to send in 4 coupons and one check for $10.00 at a time?

Thanks,

Mkb28
