Hmm, this information and release date is no longer correct. The 2 most reliable sources for upcoming comic book releases are:

1) Diamond's customer order list that is published monthly via PREVIEWSWORLD.

2) Valiant's solicitation announcements, for instance February 2017.

Sorry for the bad news. I'm dying for more Shadowman, too!

Amazon is pretty reliable, and they have it moved out to July.

Amazon's been pushing back that date since early 2016.

The only real problem is the Archer & Armstrong Deluxe Edition #1. You can't find it anywhere else but from retailers selling it via Amazon starting at $97 for used copies.

Some of these hardcover do get second printings though. There are 2013 and 2015 printings for both the Harbinger and XO Manowar Deluxe Edition #1's.

For those looking for a Ninjak Deluxe HC Volume 1, Instocktrades.com has it listed for 30% off or $27.99. Shipping is $4.00, but if you spend $50.00 or more, shipping is free.

Happy hunting!

Cool!

All the Valiant collections seem to be 30% off at the moment, including the Valiant Masters and Classic Omnibuses (A&A & XO) and it gets even better:

X-O Manowar Classic Omnibus HC DCBS Exclusive Variant Edition is 50% off - $49.99 instead of $99.99 for more than 800 pages and half of the original series.

Instocktrades.com always lists them for 30% off. The Harbinger Volume 2 Deluxe HC is 35% off cover price. You can grab two Deluxe HC's for $27.99 each and get free shipping.

If you are looking for an even better deal, Amazon has the new 4001 Deluxe HC for $26.99 with free shipping for Prime members! :thumb:

This is some major news for those of us that would have liked more hard cover editions

I'm taking this to mean the hardcovers are not getting reprinted. Looks like maybe a softcover version of the hardcovers will be published? That's my guess.

Better than nothing, but not ideal.

I wish they'd also do a second volume of the XO Classic -- even if it's softcover.

Perhaps it's gonna be something like the collected UNITY SAGA with slipcase?

I'm surprised the first Archer & Armstrong deluxe is going for so much. I bought it for $10 (clearance at my LCS) around 4 months ago. I wasn't sure if I'd get it since I already had the single issues & tpbs comprising of those issues, but at that cheap price I bought it anyway.

Good for you. :!:
It's my own fault. I should have picked up the Deluxe Editions earlier but I never really bothered until a friend of mine got himself the Divinity and Rai hardcovers last year. Now I wouldn't mind spending a little money but more than a 100 bucks plus international shipping is too much for a used hardcover.

They must have been following this post...

So you are judging national and international demand and supply by how one store sold their copy?

No. He's saying that he didn't have a clue of the value of A&A books since, as far as he was aware from his personal experience, they were clearance items.
I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.

Not even that. Buying clearance items is a luck of the draw situation. I just assumed, if anything, the A&A deluxe simply goes for cover price (or a little less).

It's cool that there's demand for the hardcover, but what really threw me off is, although I enjoyed Van Lente's run on that title, I don't remember it being a hot comic during its run.

It does not have to be. True capitalism only requires that supply (or perceived supply) is lower than demand.
